The take-off lives in your spreadsheet
Nobody else can check it, and a change means doing it again.
Work inside your client's project with the Estimator role: quantities with the working shown, prices with their source, your corrections and swaps on record, and every re-price a new version.

Nobody else can check it, and a change means doing it again.
A rate from last year's job, a supplier's email, a guess: the figure is there but its basis is gone.
Five files with similar names and no record of who changed what.
Your client invites you by email with the Estimator role. Accept it through a free consultant workspace of your own; you never become a member of their organisation.
The quantities are computed from the project as described. Correct the inputs, confirm what the AI read from the drawings, and enter the quantities that are measured by hand, at your own rate if you have one.
Each line takes the best source available and says which. Swap a product for a listed alternative with a reason, set the site condition, re-price.
An estimator prepares but does not approve. Your client, or their architect or project manager, approves the version that becomes the scope builders price.
Every quantity shows how it was arrived at and every price shows its source, so you know which figures to challenge.

Type a unit rate for any quantity you enter; it is recorded as yours, ex GST.
Compare any two versions side by side and re-price from any earlier one.
Totals, the breakdown by stage, exclusions, items by others and the terms, from any priced version.

Working on a client's project is free: its limits belong to its owner. Gold and Platinum add uploads to clients' projects and projects of your own.
No. A project's limits belong to its owner. Your own plan matters for projects of your own, uploads to clients' projects and reports in the Grace Quote app.
No. The person who prepares an estimate does not approve it. Approval stays with the client, their architect or their project manager.
On the Consultant Gold or Platinum plan, yes: you upload and delete your own files, never change who sees them. On the free plan, email the report to the client and they upload it.
Yes. Correct the inputs the quantity was computed from, or enter the figure yourself; a figure you enter outranks the derived one until you clear it, and the change is on record.
Yes. Upload the architectural set and the AI proposes the buildings, storeys and rooms, measuring room areas against the drawing's scale, for you to confirm before anything is calculated.
From published supplier offers first, then dated market prices, then indicative item rates and category averages, each ex GST and named on the line. Labour comes from trade rates for the site's locality.
